Southern Provisions was born out of a need for a unique and trendy fashion destination in Kommetjie. It was conceptualised to appeal to the fashion conscious, however offers a hip and laid back environment in which to browse.
The original Southern Provisions store thrives in an unexpected location in Heron Park, Kommetjie. It was established by teaming up with the popular coffee shop, Southern Grind. Today it is a hive of local activity, with customers lingering for longer.
The Southern Provisions store enjoys a chilled setting on Imhoff Farm. The shop features exposed brickwork as well as custom-made industrial and reclaimed wood fittings.
Grab a coffee as you enter and take your time browsing the carefully curated selection of premium and hip international and local brands. Stylish menswear and ladies wear from the likes of North Face, Hurley, St Goliath, Silent Theory, All About Eve, Happy Socks and Molo Socks are complemented by accessories from Herschel and desirable Bits & Botany homeware.
The Team
Cofounded by Simon and Sean, Southern Provisions runs as a well oiled machine under their passionate guidance. Simon is an experienced international fashion brand sales director and takes care of the product sourcing and merchandising for the store’s diverse and desirable apparel, footwear and homeware range.
With extensive project management experience, Sean is in charge of the premium coffee offering and in-store shopping experience. Barista extraordinaire Joseph will ensure that you are well-caffeinated during your visit to the trendiest fashion destination on the Cape Peninsula.
