Miky Rose

Cape Town born jeweller Mikhela Hawker grew up in the seaside village of Kommetjie on the Cape Point peninsula, South Africa. Her brand, Miky Rose, was founded in her passion for both the technical details of refined jewellery making and her love of the nature that surrounds her.

Mikhela’s studio is just a two minute walk from her favourite beach where she finds the shells you see in her work. With an endless supply of inspiration at her fingertips she is constantly adding to her ever growing ocean range.

The jewellery at Miky Rose is handmade with meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship. The sea shells are created using a technique called the Lost Wax Casting Process. This method captures the natural fine details of the treasures found on the beach.

All of her work is made in solid sterling silver and bronze.
